Reselling Baby Clothes Online
If you invest the time and energy to take good care of your children's clothes, you can make money re-selling them. Your two best outlets are garage or yard sales, and the Internet. Assemble the clothes your kids have outgrown in common-sense lots (4 boy's outfits; 3 pairs of girls shoes), take digital photos and post them on a re-selling site. Check what's already there to get a sense of pricing.
At neighborhood sales the cheapest items such as socks and T-shirts can go for as little as a dime or a quarter, but the heftier items bring a couple to a few dollars. (Dolls, game, toys, etc will also sell.) You can make enough re-selling your infant clothes and baby clothes for a fancy dinner twice a year, or even enough for a down payment on a vacation. Save your hangars and find a clothes rack if you can - professional display makes a big difference at neighborhood sales.
