When you visit your doctor to talk pregnancy planning, you should have a complete physical exam as well as a pap smear. In addition, you should talk to your doctor about the following pregnancy information:

  • Information on any past pregnancies or gyno problems will also help your doctor predict potential problems during pregnancy or conception.
  • Do you have any STD's? Certain STD's can affect your baby your ability to get pregnant.
  • What's your family's medical history?
  • Are you currently living a healthy lifestyle? This includes exercise and lifestyle.
