Every woman’s cycle is unique, but in general, ovulation can take place between days 11 and 21 of a 32 day menstrual cycle. Women with 27-28 day cycles will be more likely to ovulate in the earlier part of the window while women with longer cycles will tend to ovulate later, closer to days 16-21 of the fertility window. Women with highly irregular periods tend not to ovulate at all. Anovulation, or the absence of ovulation, is a medical condition which should be promptly brought to the attention of your physician.
