Buying Baby Clothes
Save money on baby clothes by matching your baby's forecasted sizes to the upcoming seasons. For instance, a baby born in later summer or fall might go through his first winter in sweaters and blankets. He might never wear that expensive infant snowsuit, and his first parka might be a size 2. And remember that baby will be 9 months-plus, perhaps close to double his birth weight, by the time summer's heat returns. Growth guidelines are useful when targeting what infant clothes and baby clothes to buy. Figure a pound per month the first 3 months, and 10 oz. per month thereafter until age 1.
